Working in collaboration with the amazing Zach Hobbs, I lead the development of the visual language, physical assets, and execution of assets for digital application, while Zach contributed illustration inspiration. This was IDEO’s first BIPOC only leadership program, hoping to lift up the BIPOC community. The brand design was inspired by different paths people might be on, a journey towards a goal. We wanted a comforting organic feeling, with movement and a color palette that was both grounded and fun. The program itself was digital, with a branded deck, email headers, and announcement banners. Each participant also received a physical welcome kit in the mail which included branded stickers, notebooks, tickets, notes, and other printables, all wrapped up with special branded tape.
All physical items are shown here as mockups.
Everything was printed and assembled in New York City, designed remotely. Items were not photographed by the team before being sent out.
